Sunday Message

RESURRECTION INSURANCE

2 Cor 5:1, NKJV

For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

OPENING PRAYER

Almighty God and Creator, You are eternal. You have always been. There is not a time or period when You were not. All things that exist did not exist until You caused them to be. We admit, O' Father, that we are not capable to fully grasp the scope of Your power, but we do understand the power of the gift of prayer that we have received. Let us today ASSURE ourselves that we have accomplished that which we have been called to do to INSURE our eternity in Your Kingdom in the name JESUS the CHRIST, the ONLY DOOR, Amen!

MESSAGE

Open your Bibles to 2 Corinthians and Chapter 5 as the Lord and HIS message leads us through our personal INSURANCE POLICY of Salvation in the Lord, and be ASSURED that when our turn comes, we can rest comfortably in the very hands of HE who created us. You and I are but visitors, sojourners on this planet. Creations of the Almighty, our short years here are temporary, wearing this tent of a body until it wears out.

The Bible says: For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our [Eternal] habitation which is from heaven, if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. {2 Cor 5: 1-4 NKJV}

It is not a new concept for us to grasp. We protect things that to us has value and worth. Life Insurance to provide for the family. Home and or mortgage, casualty insurance, auto and even traveler's insurance. We do this so that we have a Plan "B:, you, know....."Just in Case!" Realistically we know that one day all of us will receive the call to return home from our temporary visit on this earth. INSURANCE / ASSURANCE would be a very wise thing to double check!

Fortunately, we have Holy Scripture here to help us discern the details of the celestial policy;

Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the [Holy Spirit] as a guarantee. So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight.

We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. {2 Cor 5: 5-8 NKJV}

During my younger years I always had this deep sense of expectation within me. To me it was like a void, or that I was waiting on something or was missing..BUT..curiously the confidence in me was strong in that eventually I would have knowledge of what it was. That day came when I was introduced to and accepted Jesus!

Accepting and confessing that the Lord is the Lord results in instant forgiveness of sins, but it is conversion that causes major changes to take place in you providing ASSURANCE that your resurrection from the dead is already complete. There is a difference in ACCEPTING Jesus and to RECEIVE JESUS. I accepted Jesus while in my Nonage, I finally CONVERTED in my Dotage; A Late Bloomer! All of that time, Jesus never left my side. HE was always there.

SUMMARY/APPLICATION

The Apostle Paul writes in verses 14 through 21; For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. {2 Cor 5: 14-21 NKJV}

Jesus executed the INSURANCE policy for us by paying IN FULL with HIS BLOOD thereby taking our place, dieing for us, setting us free, ASSURING our Eternal Salvation! The details are all here, inside the Policy within the Holy Bible!

CLOSING PRAYER

Lord God, our Father, as children we frequently urged time to hurry up so that we might be older. Later in our years, we find ourselves urging time to slow down, it seems like the days fly by. Give us all wisdom and discernment to confirm that the transition from this temporary visit to our reception at Home with You is precisely Your Will. From the day we were created You Lord have longed to gather us like chicks, your people with You our God, in Jesus AMEN.

DOXOLOGY

Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow;

Praise Him, all creatures here below;

Praise Him above, Ye heaven-ly host;

Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

Amen

Sunday Message

NEW BEGINNINGS

1 Sam 16:12, NKJV

So he sent and brought [young David] in. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the Lord said, "Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!"

OPENING PRAYER

All Seeing and all knowing Father of all creation, with great humility we are blessed in being gathered together for worship and growth on this Holy Weekend; One which marks for us a fresh start and a new beginning! Grant us open minds, hearts and souls to the message revealed today in Holy Scripture while granting us wisdom and discernment to fully understand and implement our Father's will. We pray this in the name of our Lord, Jesus the Christ, AMEN.

MESSAGE

The Bible is consistent throughout. From Genesis all the way to the end of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. God's will and plan has not changed from the moment of the creation nor can it change as the last days unfold in our presence. The word immutable comes to mind. It means unchanging. God does not change. God is the constant. We, THE PEOPLE, are the variables. We are the trouble makers! We are the reason that initiates "New Beginnings". We do so again and again by the Lord's wonderful unearned mercy. He grants us opportunity to begin again through confession and sincere repentance. He lovingly grants to us New Beginnings! These New Beginnings lead to CHANGE. Change... is not something that we humans do well.

Adam experienced CHANGE when he crossed the line that God had commanded about a certain fruit. New beginnings resulted, and the change was very impactful on Adam and everyone who followed of his seed! {Gen 3:17-19} As a result sin and evil was ushered into the world. A few thousand years later, the Messiah would be born of a woman and God's prophesied plan of salvation would be fulfilled and offered to the whole of humanity. If you and I have difficulty handling CHANGE, we can blame Adam for sharing his fleshly error to all.

Holy Scripture documents other biblical characters who were thrust into NEW BEGINNINGS resulting from CHANGE; The young Shepherd DAVID found himself in a whole new BEGINNING when God chose him to be the Next King of Israel. Slaying giants and staying clear of the current King [Saul] brought challenges, but God was with David every moment.

Turning the pages of the Bible to Exodus chapters 2 & 3 we meet Moses. Being adopted by an Egyptian Princess who provided 40 years of care and education followed by another New Beginning; Killing a man and going on the run--for 40 Years. During this period, Moses learned how to be a Shepherd of the Sheep! AT 80 years of age another New Beginning; God selects Moses to shepherd the flock of God's choosing, leading the on-again, off-again believers around the same mountain for 40 Years then delivering them to the border of the Promised Land! Oh, and while doing all that...he was enabled by God to dictate the Mosaic Laws to the scribes for publication. It has a name, TORAH. The first five books of the Bible!

Noah is another fine man, a simple small town preacher who by the Grace and Power of GOD was blessed with a new skill. BOAT BUILDER and SURVIVOR! a Huge CHANGE was on the way! As a result, humans would no longer live to be 800 or 900 years old. God determined that 120 Years would be the new limit on the newly populated Earth! {Gen 6:12-af } Just eight humans were the only survivors on this earth and the NEW BEGINNINGS was literally before their eyes!

Still others experienced NEW BEGINNINGS, each one of them profound in their own rite; Jesus and the woman caught in the act of adultery. To the accusers Jesus said "Let he among you without SIN cast the first stone against her! One by one they quietly walked away. Jesus said to her, Woman, where are your accusers. Have they not condemned you? No, my Lord. Nor do I said Jesus telling her to go...and sin no more!

The salvation of a Samaritan Woman at the well. Jesus bringing a Widows Son back to life. Then there is Lazarus. Dead for four days, already buried, Jesus has them roll away the sealing stone and HE called Lazarus by name to COME OUT! HE DID! {John 11:38-44}

Abraham received the promise of God that his off-spring would out number the stars in the sky. Circa 2092 BC. God's chosen will soon have their 1st Beginning. Over the next two thousand years other New Beginnings would come. The cycle of SIN-CONFESS-REPENT repeating. Through all the captivities, the diaspora, that horrible holocaust Gods chosen people would finally return to their forever homeland, two great nations joined named Israel. The New-NEW Beginning! Changing from the Old Ways comes slowly, painfully, but the Bible assures, all of His People will come to Messiah {Christ} The Lord's will be done!

SUMMARY/APPLICATION

For nearly a decade we in the U.S. have witnessed an incredible period of wide spread lawlessness and political strife. God fearing people are spiritually, tuned through Holy Scripture {The Word of God}, to recognize immediately that which is RIGHTEOUS Vs. that which is EVIL. The Bible leaves little doubt about our responsibilities to carefully and purposely obey the law and distance ourselves from all that is dishonest or clearly illegal. As for our Lord, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. {Heb 13:8 NKJV}

People escaping from under the thumb of oppressive rulers overseas, coupled with great violence in the world of religiosity, brave and committed believers came to America's shores; Each looking for NEW BEGINNINGS. They found them. Many died from illness or violence and even starvation. It was the hunger in their hearts that drew them, strengthened them and committed them to be vital stones in another NEW BEGINNING as Americans! The secret to the success of our forefathers in this new land was PRAYER. FAITH. COURAGE, STAMINA, PATIENCE, and COMMITMENT.

It took guts. The kind of guts that only the Creator can provide--- And He did! By His grace the LAND OF THE FREE was born and the PRAYERS continued to roll.

Here in the United States of America, 250 years after our birth, we find that it is a huge undertaking for this people to discipline themselves in order to DEFEND WHAT WE HAVE BEEN DIVINELY GIVEN! It is an ongoing battle between RIGHTEOUSNESS and SATANIC EVIL. There is no middle ground. The Bible leads me to believe that we, as a nation, have been granted a NEW BEGINNING. Are we up to the challenge to defend that grace we have again received? There remains only one way possible and that is through JESUS the CHRIST. By Him and with Him and In Him is the final route. Your map with directions are in the Bible. Bless you for enlisting to serve in His Army. Carry On! You soldiers of the Lord!

CLOSING PRAYER

O' Mighty and powerful Commander of the Army of the Lord, we humble ourselves before You by laying down our very lives in defense of the Kingdom to come. Let us willingly be stable stones to be placed by Your will in that celestial headquarters, that building not made by hands, existing eternally in the New Jerusalem, where we who believe will be filled with joy forever. In the name of the King of Kings, Jesus the Christ, AMEN

DOXOLOGY

Praise Him above, Ye heaven-ly host;

Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

Sunday Message

OUR FATHER

John 14:28

You have heard Me say to you, 'I am going away and coming back to you.' If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, 'I am going to the Father,' for My Father is greater than I.

OPENING PRAYER

Father of all creation, with great humility we thank-You for gathering us together for worship and growth on this Holy Weekend. Grant us open minds, hearts and souls to the message revealed in Holy Scripture while granting us wisdom and discernment to fully understand and implement our Father's will. We pray this in the name of the Son, Jesus the Christ, AMEN.

MESSAGE

The Prophet Malachi chastised the Jewish priests in Jerusalem for their lack of faith regarding Almighty God. Malachi confronted them with this question; "Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us?" Circa 433 BC, Leadership in Judah is suffering as foreign idol worship has stolen many souls. The message of Malachi was simple: All of creation are of the same FATHER, known as -- I AM. Following another period of about 430 years, the world would receive the Christ, the Messiah and His ministry, actions, and teachings would lead to salvation and forgiveness of sins, ONCE FOR ALL AND FOR ALL TIME for those who call His name; "JESUS".

Now it came to pass, as [Jesus] was praying in a certain place, when He was finished, that one of His disciples said to Him, "Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples." So [Jesus] said to them, "When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one." {Luk 11:1-4 NKJV}

Jesus explained that the words He was sharing with them comes from the Father and It is to the Father that all glory and reverence is to return.

[Jesus continued] Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. {I do as my Father teaches and shows me. I do nothing of my own.} I am in the Father and He is in me, and I in you! {Joh 14:11-13 NKJV}

SUMMARY/APPLICATION

Joh 14:28-31 NKJV You have heard Me say to you, 'I am going away and coming back to you.' If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, 'I am going to the Father,' for My Father is greater than I. (29) "And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe. (30) I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me. (31) But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave Me commandment, so I do.

Joh 15:9-12 NKJV "As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

{I do as my Father teaches and shows me. I do nothing of my own.} I am in the Father and He is in me, and [with the Holy Spirit] I am in you and you are in me!

Arise, let us go from here.

CLOSING PRAYER

You are the Creator, we are the created. You are GOD, we are your people. You are our Father, and we are Your children. May our behavior before the world bring Glory and Joy to Your heart, in the name of Jesus the Christ, the congregation says---AMEN!

WEEKEND WORSHIP MESSAGE

SABBATH MEDITATIONS :

On the Tenth of the Hebrew month of Tevet, the Jewish People remember the day King Nebuchadnezzar laid siege to Jerusalem. That terrible siege lasted three years and culminated in the destruction of the First Temple and the exile of the Jewish People to Babylon.

The day is not far off, however, when God will pour out the Spirit of Grace on His People, and they will understand that Yeshua is the Messiah.  (Zechariah 12:10–14)

SUNDAY MESSAGE:

"CHRIST'S MINISTRY BEGINS"

Matthew 3:13-17; John 1:19-28; 29-34; 35-51;John 2 1-12;13-22

OPENING PRAYER

Mighty Father, Awesome Creator, with humble hearts we gather this Holy Day in worship and reverential fear to express our deep faith and love to you who first loved us. It is with thanksgiving in our hearts that we are granted the open scripture recording the events painting a vivid picture in our minds, hearts and souls as to what was witnessed and documented. Receive our collective praise and adoration for Your only begotten Son, Jesus the Christ, the Messiah, AMEN.

MESSAGE

Jesus, so named at birth, born of a virgin in Bethlehem, raised in Nazareth, the long predicted and expected Messiah was indeed among us. His arrival was right on time! The birth took place right where it had been prophesised. His rejection would also follow as recorded in Holy Scipture, well in advance of His arrival and ministry.

The first prophetic allusion to the coming KING appears in Genesis 3 and verse 15: (God is speaking) "And I will put enmity between you [serpent] and the woman, and between your seed [Satan] and her seed [Jesus] He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.". The prophesy of Christ's coming is throughout the Old Testament, and the birth is foretold in Isaiah 7:14- Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. Immanuel means; God With Us.

The day that the Spirit of God was born of a woman, to a young virgin named Mary who was betrothed to Joseph of the line of David and his throne--the child,-- the KING of KINGS was first introduced to the world not by Royalty, or through a Potentate. The Lord Jesus was received by the lowly Shepherds of the Flock in fields nearby. Shepherds receiving their Chief Shepherd and they were full of joy!

The Bible is silent on the early days of Jesus childhood. Since Joseph was a carpenter, it would be reasonable to assume that Joseph began teaching young Jesus the art of woodworking at an early age. We next see him with his family in Jerusalem, attending Passover and perhaps preparing for his Bar-Mitzvah the following year, since the bible mentions his age being 12 years. We don't know for certain, but we do know that the most senior of Rabbis were most impressed with this child's scope and level of knowledge as young Jesus easily conversed and responded to questions with authority and intuitive answers.

It was common in that day that Rabinical Theologians began their ministry at or about the age of 30;

Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him.

And John tried to prevent Him, saying, "I need to be baptized by You, and You are coming to me?"

But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allowed Him.

When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and [John] saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." {Matthew 3:13-17}

John 1:19-28- Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, "Who are you?"

He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, "I am not the Christ."

And they asked him, "What then? Are you Elijah?" He said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" And he answered, "No."

Then they said to him, "Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?"

He said: "I am 'The voice of one crying in the wilderness: "Make straight the way of the Lord," ' as the prophet Isaiah said." Now those who were sent were from the Pharisees.

And they asked him, saying, "Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?" John answered them, saying, "I baptize with water, but there stands One among you whom you do not know. It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose."

These things were done in Bethabara beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

This is He of whom I said, 'After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me.'

I did not know Him; but that He should be revealed to Israel, therefore I came baptizing with water."

And John bore witness, saying, "I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him.

I did not know Him,<-(31) but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, 'Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.' And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God." {John 1:29-34-NKJV}

Again, the next day, John stood with two of his disciples.

And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, "Behold the Lamb of God!"

The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to them, "What do you seek?" They said to Him, "Rabbi" (which is to say, when translated, Teacher), "where are You staying?"

He said to them, "Come and see." They came and saw where He was staying, and remained with Him that day (now it was about the tenth hour).

One of the two who heard John speak, and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, "We have found the Messiah" (which is translated, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus. Now when Jesus looked at him, He said, "You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas" (which is translated, A Stone).

The following day Jesus wanted to go to Galilee, and He found Philip and said to him, "Follow Me." Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.

Philip found Nathanael and said to him, "We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote--Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."

And Nathanael said to him, "Can anything good come out of Nazareth?" Philip said to him, "Come and see." Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, "Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!"

Nathanael said to Him, "How do You know me?" Jesus answered and said to him, "Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you."

Nathanael answered and said to Him, "Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!"

Jesus answered and said to him, "Because I said to you, 'I saw you under the fig tree,' do you believe? You will see greater things than these."

And He said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man."

On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.

And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, "They have no wine."

Jesus said to her, "Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come."

His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it."

Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece.

Jesus said to them, "Fill the waterpots with water." And they filled them up to the brim.

And He said to them, "Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast." And they took it.

When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom.

And he said to him, "Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!" This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him. {John 2: 1-12, NKJV}

After this He went down to Capernaum, He, His mother, His brothers, and His disciples; and they did not stay there many days.

Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the moneychangers doing business.

When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers' money and overturned the tables.

And He said to those who sold doves, "Take these things away! Do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise!"

Then His disciples remembered that it was written, "Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up."

So the Jews answered and said to Him, "What sign do You show to us, since You do these things?" Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."

Then the Jews said, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?" But He was speaking of the temple of His body.

Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said. {John 2: 13-22, NKJV}

SUMMARY/APPLICATION

How did so many Jews fail to recognize the fulfillment of Scripture and MISS OR DISMISS THE MESSIAH'S ARRIVAL COMPLETELY? How does this denial still have massive impact on the Chosen People of God, the Jewish Nation? An answer will be shared here today and expressed in the simplest of terms: In light of Old Testament records of war after war, battle after battle, win one, lose three, the Jewish expectation was that the Messiah would arrive on a powerful steed, all armored up, sword in His hand, ready to destroy all of their enemies.

They imagined a warrior. They received a meek and humble man. The very Son of God! Oh, we all will see the arrival of a WARRIOR. How will He be received, O' Non-beliver? Will you remain "stiff-necked" then?

Jesus, Messiah, was born of a woman. Raised just like all children. At age 12, Jesus counseled the most senior rabinical leaders in Jerusalem and those attending truly marveled at His remarkable knowledge and what they sensed as authority. In His 30th year, His ministry began following Baptism. His entry into Jerusalem was not on horseback, the symbol of war. The King rode instead on a donkey, symbol of PEACE. {Mat 21:4-10}

History forced them to look for JOHN WAYNE, Biblical prophesy introduced them to The humble SON OF GOD!
