VOTE WITH THE BIBLE 2024
Romans 13:1
Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
OPENING PRAYER
Almighty God, Father to all, we give thanks for gathering us together in worship and fellowship, local or remote. We are at a cross road of great consequence and our voices must be heard. Grant us courage, boldness, truth and stamina as we go to the polls and cast our prayer guided votes. Let every God fearing voice be heard! IN Jesus the Christ we pray, AMEN.
MESSAGE
Since my birth I can recall directly from my memory 13 of the 14 U.S. Presidents that have occupied the Oval Office of the Chief Executive of the U.S. government.
Grandparents on both sides of the family loved "GIVE-EM-HELL" Harry Truman. Dad had a pin on his welding cap that read, "I LIKE IKE", President Eisenhower. My memory is clear in recalling the day when our school rounded up the entire school population and gathered them in the Auditorium. Something really big had occurred; President John F. Kennedy had been shot and killed in Dallas Texas. The screams and sobbing of the students and the teachers is burned in my memory.
Growing up, my sister and I were in a family that had no "political affiliation". Although left and right, Democrat and Republican parties existed, our family always voted as God led. There was RIGHT and there was WRONG. GOOD and EVIL. World War II and Korea taught us great lessons about how quickly our population of "SHEEPLE" can stray and end up in deep trouble. The farther away we stray from the Bible, the greater the influence of EVIL.
Here we are today. America is in trouble and much of the nation stopped paying attention to the subtle changes that have crept purposely forward, in plain view, for the past 55 years! We have been so consumed with the art of NAVEL GAZING that we failed to look around and notice the evolving threats. There has been no attempt to hide the encroachment, and if we did and said "HEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING THERE?" You would be told to sit down, shut up and mind your own business...or ELSE!
It is not just here in America, this same process is in varying stages of advancement is active all around the globe. SATAN has discovered the INTERNET, and HE has learned how to point and click! Today's children, soon to be adults, are deeply immersed, if not complete salves to a device that measures six by nine inches, a total of 18 square inches...we call a SMART PHONE. Information is passed in tiny 156 character messages, resulting in very short attention spans. Add to this, most are completely oblivious to events physically around them. They become literally SHEEP ready to be victim to the WOLF. Satan loves that part!
Lets go back to the beginning of this message and read again what Paul wrote to the Romans in Rom 13:1-2 NASB Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.
SUMMARY/APPLICATION
So, how do we as individuals even begin to slow this out of control train or perhaps even stop it? (1) We use the tools God has given us, HIS Children; WE VOTE. [1Sa 8:5 NASB and they said to [Samuel],... Now appoint a king for us to judge us like all the nations."]
We use the power of the BALLOT and remove those who have turned their back on the Lord and are imposing carnal and sinful laws and rules that are well outside the commands and laws of HE who created all of us. (2) We roll out our most powerful weapon against evil, the power of PRAYER. If we use these tools that God has provided us, placing our full heart and souls into the efforts, GOD will hear and respond. It must be HIS WILL and power behind an intercession against this lawlessness that has been foisted upon all GOD Fearing Americans. PRAY, PRAY, and then PRAY more. When you are well prayed, THEN VOTE!
CLOSING PRAYER
Lord, we have a great deal of unchecked turmoil that sometimes seems to have no solution, nor correction. Lawlessness is a tool of the devil. The Lord Rebuke You Satan! Grant us the courage to stand tall for You, Father, for You, Lord Jesus, For You Holy Spirit, and make our voices clearly heard that enough is enough and it is way past time to turn this ship back in the direction of righteousness and truth. May it so be Mighty Lord, in Jesus, AMEN
THE CALL
If you have never invited Jesus to be your Lord and savior, or, if you have in the past yet remain unsure of salvation and forgiveness of sin, Please pray with me now: Lord Jesus I need to fill a hole in my life that follows me where ever I go. I am a long-time Sinner and I CONFESS and REPENT of all my sins. I believe that You JESUS are the Lord, that you were hung on a cross and died. I believe that you were raised back to life by God, Your Father, ascended into heaven and presently sit at the right hand of The Almighty. Please come into be, clean me, take me and make me Yours and let me serve from this day forward and forever, Thank-You Jesus, AMEN
If you sincerely prayed with me, your salvation has been assured. {Rom 10:9 KJV -That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. }
