O' LORD, YOUR WILL BE DONE!

"My Father....Your will be done."
Mat 26:42

I know, O LORD, that a man's way is not in himself, Nor is it in a man who walks to direct his steps.  Correct me, O LORD, but with justice; Not with Your anger, or You will bring me to nothing. {Jer 10:23-24}

O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me.  Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child rests against his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me.   In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;  and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. {Psa 131:1-2, Rom 8:26-27}

No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.  Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. {1Co 10:13-14}

For whom the LORD loves He reproves, Even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights. {Pro 3:12}

'See now that I, I am He, And there is no god besides Me; It is I who put to death and give life. I have wounded and it is I who heal, And there is no one who can deliver from My hand. {Deu 32:39}

'For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," declares the LORD.  "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts. {Jer 29:11,Isa 55:8-9}

For those whom the lord loves he disciplines, and he scourges every son whom he receives."  It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?  But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.  Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?   For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness.   All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness. {Heb 12:6-11}

In all cases O Lord, Your Will Be Done!
