PRAY IN THE SPIRIT -- SNYDER

Pray in the Spirit

My dear friend and brother in Christ, Michael Snyder shared a wonderful nugget of learning to a small band of believers this morning. Michael scours the globe for just the right meaningful and targeted message and offers his discoveries to us each day. Michael does not just love Jesus, our Lord, Michael is IN LOVE with Christ. The Holy Spirit operates through Mike and close attention is paid to where the Spirit leads. This is the topic that Michael shared this day. The THIRD co-equal manifestation of the Great Triune; The Holy Spirit:

Nobody can worship without the Holy Ghost. God is Spirit; the Holy Spirit is the only one properly to lead the heart to worship God acceptably. The fallen human mind does not know how to worship God acceptability, so the Holy Spirit takes the fallen human mind, points it up, corrects it, purges it, aims it and directs it so that it is worshiping God.

That is why it is so vastly and vitally important that we should know the Holy Spirit. I have often felt like getting on my knees and apologizing to the Holy Spirit for the way the Church has treated Him. We have treated Him shoddily. We have treated Him in such a manner that if you were to treat a guest that way, the guest would slip away grief stricken and never return. We have treated the Holy Spirit wretchedly.

He is God Himself, the link binding the Father and the Son, and is the substance uncreated, which is deity. Yet the Holy Spirit is typically ignored in the average church, even in the average gospel church.

In the book of Romans (8:26), you will find that only the Holy Spirit knows how to pray. “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints, according to the will of God” (Romans 8:26,27.

In our prayers, there will be mutterings and repetition until the Holy Spirit takes them, purges them, cleanses them and makes them acceptable to God through Jesus Christ our Mediator. Therefore, it is impossible to pray without the Spirit. The most powerful prayers are prayed in the Spirit, and we cannot worship without the Holy Spirit. Either we ignore Him or we exploit Him for our personal pleasure and entertainment.

I think it is time we rethink this whole matter of the place of the Holy Spirit in the church of our Lord Jesus Christ. We should rethink it in the light of the Scriptures, because without the Holy Spirit, we are as Israel when she continued worshiping God after the fire left the holy place and there was no Shekinah, no glory, no fire, no light and no Presence there.

Yet Israel continued to worship vainly and futilely. Pitifully, she continued to worship, forgetting that the Spirit of worship had left her long ago. Spirituality is one of the ingredients of worship, and without it, I cannot worship God in a way that is acceptable to Him, no matter how much I worship. If it is not acceptable worship, then it is vain worship and better not attempted.

So pray with SINCERITY, HONESTY and SIMPLICITY FROM THE HEART. A.W. Tozer From: The Purpose Of Man.

Thank-you Brother Michael for sharing and teaching, and being an active living vessel for our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

O' DEATH -- WHERE IS THY STING?

O Death, where is thy sting?

There exists a huge chasm between those who have accepted Christ Jesus into their hearts and souls and those who deny the need. In John 14:6, Jesus tells us; "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me". No one!

Each one of us has an EXPIRATION DATE known only to God. Not a single one of us will avoid this eventuality. If there was ever a common ground for all -- it is death. From this earth, in this body, we will all expire on time--His time, on His clock. Do you have Jesus?

I used to think that if I did just enough good things, you know, enough to outweigh all the BAD stuff that I might sneak into heaven by the skin of my teeth. I'm glad I found out before it was too late that there are no degrees of success in salvation. It is one or the other. Either you ARE saved or you ARE NOT. No middle ground. No grading on a curve. It is all or nothing. The ALL is HEAVEN. The NOTHING is HELL. I love all of you enough to tell you the truth. There is no middle ground.

We are saved by GRACE. An undeserved gift from God. There is nothing you can ever do to earn it. It can't be bought, traded or bartered. GRACE through FAITH in Jesus Christ. This is truth directly from scripture. All of this is for the glory of our Lord. No short-cuts. No back doors.

So many failed in their thinking that if they followed the letter of the Mosaic Law, this would be a golden ticket into heaven. DO you want your Golden Ticket? Invite Jesus in to your heart. Let Him rearrange your spiritual furniture. Let Him show you THE WAY. He is the ONLY door.

"O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. - Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him. 1Co 15:55-57-Heb 9:26-28

Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. Heb 2:14-15

The Apostle Paul was once a chaser of THE LAW, and in his zeal a great many new Christians were persecuted, placed in prison or stoned to death for their belief. Then he met Jesus on the road to Damascus. In his declining days Paul reflected on the changes Jesus made in him and the beauty it was to share the terrible suffering with his Lord and Savior, Jesus of Nazareth. He wrote: For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing. 2Ti 4:6-8

THE GOD PROTEIN?

LAMININ-IS this the GOD Protein?

A few years ago my eyes spotted a story regarding a preacher, somewhere, anchoring his sermon on what he postulated was a protein of divine origin. I scratched my head since all protein, all life, all of everything is of the divine will of Almighty God. (refer to Genesis Chapter 1). When I turned the page there was a drawing of what this particular protein looked like. WOW! Being so taken, I said aloud WOW another half a dozen times!

Laminin is a unique protein that basically holds all the stuff that makes us US, together. Its like glue or molecular velcro. If you are a living, functioning creature, on this earth--LAMININ holds us together. Without Laminin, we are just a bowl of amino acid soup.

Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. Psa 139:16

When the material that became you and I were in our mother's womb, God was there. The Holy Spirit causes me to believe that it is in this precious moment that our Lord causes laminin to form, giving adhesion to the tiny cells that will form a Gary or a Linda, or a Michael in nine-months time. Without this protein, we remain just substance.

Here is an electron microscope capture of an actual laminin protein from the human body. Its not quite as pretty as the drawing, but don't let that detract from it's divine purpose as living beings created by the very hand of God.

As if everything we can see, touch, smell, taste, hear, and actually know is not enough to convince even the hardened heart of the skeptic, here we see profound evidence of our individual creation. Creation by His hand. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. Rom 1:20

The fact that this protein is unique in it's shape [differing from all other proteins] is to me divine evidence of the Master's hand; For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1Co 1:18

When I lay eyes on this wondrous microscopic key to our existence, I cannot help but be in absolute awe of the might, the beauty, and the power of HE who created all things; He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. For it was the Father's good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven. Col 1:15-20

HIM WHO WAS TO COME

HIM WHO WAS TO COME

But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, - so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone, that one died for all, therefore all died. - For as through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous. Heb 2:9-2Co 5:14-Rom 5:19

So also it is written, "The first MAN, Adam, BECAME A LIVING SOUL." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual. - Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 1Co 15:45-46- Gen 1:26-27

God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, - even as You gave Him authority over all flesh, that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life. Heb 1:1-3- Joh 17:2

The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven. As is the earthy, so also are those who are earthy; and as is the heavenly, so also are those who are heavenly. 1Co 15:47-48

We all long to see ourselves, through Christ Jesus, as being "Heavenly"

HE LED THEM

HE LED THEM

What an incredible God we have. I so pray that many of those I pass each day, who are always in a hurry, with never enough time, would just pause and stand still. Find a quiet place to sit and invite the Lord to sit with you.

We are bombarded with noise and distractions unlike anything I can recall in my 70 plus years. How many seconds has it been since you last checked that smart phone you carry? Crazy isn't it? Some terrible thing happens in Tunisia, over in North Africa, and in seconds, the news with pictures in right there in your hand. Do you ever feel a bit overloaded with........STUFF?

Come with me and lets you and I, and the Lord do some visiting about leadership. God is a leader. He leads us:

He led them also by a straight way, "He found him [Jacob] in a desert land, and in the howling waste of a wilderness; He encircled him, He cared for him, He guarded him as the pupil of His eye. "Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, That hovers over its young, He spread His wings and caught them, He carried them on His pinions. "The LORD alone guided him, And there was no foreign god with him. Psa 107:7 - Deu 32:10-12

It just seems to me that in today's world, people get so wrapped up in worshiping idols like Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat; all masking the reality that they themselves is what worship. They worship SELF!

Life's events each day are summed up in a few bursts of short Text messages with Emoji's attached! Satan has discovered 4G service. He does not have to break a sweat because folks come to him. The devil loves it! Social media delivers them like sheep to the slaughter. Imagine, taking selfies at your own execution!

The Lord almighty, creator of all there is, continues to lead those who believe and place Him as Top Priority in their lives:

Even to your old age I will be the same, And even to your graying years I will bear you! I have done it, and I will carry you; And I will bear you and I will deliver you. - He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Isa 46:4 - Psa 23:3-4

The LORD will continually guide you, And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail. - For such is God, Our God forever and ever; He will guide us until death. - "Behold, God is exalted in His power; Who is a teacher like Him? Isa 58:11 - Psa 48:14 - Job 36:22

Thank-you for taking a few precious moments out of your busy schedule. Isn't it amazing what we can learn in a very short time when we take the time to know Him, our God who leads. Who loves. Who lives. Praise Him won't you?

NOW IS THE TIME

NOW IS THE TIME

Biblical and human history is filled with undeniable evidence of God's favor and forgiveness towards His people Israel. Nation after nation, people after people were dramatically and violently introduced to the Lord's wrath for those who found themselves on the wrong side against His chosen people. Holy Scripture has long been our prophetic gauge and warning. This is especially true now, today as we find ourselves in the final days:

'In those days and at that time,' declares the LORD, 'search will be made for the iniquity of Israel, but there will be none; and for the sins of Judah, but they will not be found; for I will pardon those whom I leave as a remnant.' Jer 50:20

There is a saying amonst believers that text in the Old Testament is actually the New Testament concealed. Likewise, the New Testament is the Old Testament REVEALED! Consider the following picture painted by the prophet Micah:

"As in the days when you came out from the land of Egypt, I will show you miracles." Nations will see and be ashamed Of all their might. They will put their hand on their mouth, Their ears will be deaf. They will lick the dust like a serpent, Like reptiles of the earth. They will come trembling out of their fortresses; To the LORD our God they will come in dread And they will be afraid before You. Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity And passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in unchanging love. - to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. Mic 7:15-18-Eph 1:6

And this found in Colossians:

Yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach. Col 1:22

Another incredible indicator that God will never abandon His possession:

Then He said to me, "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel..... Eze 37:11

Now, more than at any other time is the time, the moment that everyone needs to affirm Jesus Christ as their savior. Jesus was a Jew. Jesus is the door, the ONLY door to the Father. Israel belongs to Him! Israel will be saved. Be sure you are standing on the right side, God's side.

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. Jud 1:24-25

IN CHRIST -- SNYDER

IN CHRIST
Michael Snyder

IN CHRIST we are children of God (1John 3:1), new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17), One with God (1 Corinthians 6:17), partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4), seated with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), kings and priest (Revelation 1:6), more than conquerors (Romans 8:37), perfect (Hebrews 10:14), complete (Colossians 2:9-10), holy and without blame before Him in love (Ephesians 1:4), branches of the True Vine (John 15:1), vessels of glory (2 Corinthians 4:7), lights of the world (Matthew 5:14), temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:9), filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19) and saved to the uttermost ( Hebrews 7:25).

It is not we wanting to feel Him, or know Him, or love Him, that is still SELF wanting something---it is just HE. We lose sense of ourselves.

HE IS ! And so I just recognize Him living and working in place of me.

It is beyond feeling and desire, it is just HE. Self-improvement is both a sin and an IMPOSSIBILITY. I, as a human do not become the power or love or wisdom of God; I merely contain HIM. HE, who is ALL THESE, AND EVERYTHING.

HE has come forever to live HIS own life in me. HE is the one who thinks in my mind, sees through my eyes, wills in my will, loves in my heart, and acts through my body.

Consider these verses: "For IN HIM we live, and move, and our being: as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring." Acts 17:28. "For of HIM, and through HIM, and to HIM, are ALL THINGS: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

I am crucified WITH CHRIST: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I have lived by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20.

The sum of it all is this: CHRIST IS ALL, DOES ALL, AND RECEIVES ALL THE GLORY.

This message is taken from excerpts of NORMAN GRUBB WRITINGS and MS. ~Michael Snyder

Thank-You Brother Mike.
