WE ARE
DUST
For
He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust.
{Psa
103:14}
Then
the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into
his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. {Gen
2:7}
I
will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. (15) My
frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And
skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; (16) Your eyes have
seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The
days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of
them.
{Psa
139:14-16}
Do
we not all have one father? Has not one God created us? Why do we
deal treacherously each against his brother so as to profane the
covenant of our fathers? {Mal 2:10}
For
in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets
have said, 'For we also are His children.' {Act 17:28}
Just
as a father has compassion on his children, So the LORD has
compassion on those who fear Him. {Psa 103:13}
But
He, being compassionate, forgave their iniquity and did not destroy
them; And often He restrained His anger And did not arouse all His
wrath. (39) Thus He remembered that they were but flesh, A wind
that passes and does not return. {Psa 78:38-39}
