The
LORD is my portion
The
LORD is my portion; I have promised to keep Your words. {Psa 119:57}
So
then let no one boast in men. For all things belong to you, (23) and
you belong to Christ; and Christ belongs to God. {1Co 3:21,23}
Looking
for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God
and Savior, Christ Jesus, (14) who gave Himself for us to redeem us
from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His
own possession, zealous for good deeds. {Tit 2:13-14}
And
He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head
over all things to the church. {Eph 1:22}
Husbands,
love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave
Himself up for her, (27) that He might present to Himself the church
in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but
that she would be holy and blameless. {Eph 5:25,27}
My
soul will make its boast in the LORD; The humble will hear it and
rejoice. {Psa 34:2}
I
will rejoice greatly in the LORD, My soul will exult in my God; For
He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with
a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with a
garland, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. {Isa 61:10}
Whom
have I in heaven but You? And besides You, I desire nothing on earth.
(26) My flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the strength of my
heart and my portion forever. {Psa 73:25-26}
I
said to the LORD, "You are my Lord; I have no good besides You."
(5) The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You
support my lot. (6) The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places;
Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me. {Psa 16:2,5,6}
