COME
"Therefore,
behold, I will allure her, Bring her into the wilderness And speak
kindly to her. {Hos 2:14}
In a
wonderful and deep expression of His great love and patience, God
invites in a tender manner, His people to distance themselves from
the unbelieving. Those who follow idols into unimaginable sin. His
mighty tether of grace is now taut and retribution is near.
"Therefore,
COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE," says the Lord. "AND
DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you. (15)
Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in
common with an unbeliever? {2Co
6:17,15}
The Lord has made it very clear that He is at the end of His patience and will soon destroy that which is vulgar and vile. In a more tender and loving approach, God extends His hand in an effort to spare from the horror of His wrath, Jerusalem, Judah, in fact the entirety of His beloved Israel. Like a loving father, God pleads to the tender hearts of His creation to repent and turn away from idol worship and spiritual whoredom. Just as a father would plead with His child who is afflicted, so our Father stands with open arms to receive us.
God's
patience and tender invitation went unanswered. Destruction and
bondage ensued. Satan's grasp on mankind is strong but is no match
to the power of God through Jesus Christ. When you call on Him, He
battles the devil on your behalf. Just believe. Repent, turn from your sin. Open your heart. He waits for you.
Therefore,
having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all
defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of
God. {2Co 7:1}
Therefore
Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood,
suffered outside the gate. (13) So, let us go out to Him outside
the camp, bearing His reproach. {Heb 13:12-13} And He *said to
them, "Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a
while." ...{Mar 6:31}
The
very hand of Christ is extended to you. Through His death and the
shedding of His blood, your decision is all that holds back the
promise of eternal joy and life in the presence of He who created
you.
Say
YES!
The
LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. (2) He makes me lie down in
green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. (3) He restores my
soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.
{Psa 23:1-3}
