WHO WILL HELP ME?

My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (Psa 121:2)

O' Lord, our God, as we open our Bibles we ask to be filled to the brim with the loving guidance of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Let the scriptures come alive in our minds and hearts and its teachings be real so as to touch us to the depth of our souls and further bond us to You our King, our Savior, Our Lord Jesus, Amen.

(Psa 125:2) As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the LORD surrounds His people From this time forth and forever.

Our Father is creator of all that is, all that was and all that will ever be.
He loves His creation (you and me) with a love that cannot be measured. God is very protective and He longs to hear our voices. He cherishes each one of us and watches closely our steps. He is a good Father.

(Psa 123:1-2) To You I lift up my eyes, O You who are enthroned in the heavens! Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes look to the LORD our God, Until He is gracious to us.

In Him we trust and strive to please. He is the Creator, we are the created. We look to Him for guidance, for protection, for our very salvation. Who else should we ever call to? Who else indeed. There is no other!

(2Chr 20:12) O our God, will You not judge them? For we are powerless before this great multitude who are coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are on You.

Who or what is this great multitude that comes against us? It is the way of the world. It is sin. It is illness, troubles, storms, thieves, financial crisis, lust, envy and broken hearts. WHO WILL HELP ME?

(Psa 25:15) My eyes are continually toward the LORD, For He will pluck my feet out of the net.

(Psa 124:8) Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

O' Lord, Almighty Father, thank-you for this teaching. Thank-you for your Word. Let us all be convicted and driven to wash ourselves in scripture every day. As we read, let us also be read. Hear our prayers O' God. In the name of Christ Jesus, Amen.
