...For He who promised is faithful.
(Heb 10:23)

O' Sovereign Father Your Son taught us how to rightly pray, how to lift our supplications, and by the grace of the Holy Spirit,  that you have ordained,  to reside in those who believe. To receive our requests and pleadings with the confidence that an answer will come. I pray that we will one day fully understand the incredible value of being granted this important Holy favor as we, the created pleads directly with our Creator; Thank-you Father, Amen.

So often we find ourselves settling into the weak-prayer-routine. The fire and passion limps along in a much weakened state. Sometimes it is distraction. Most of the excuse can be laid at the road-side exit called -lack of discipline-. Effective prayer takes effort. It takes commitment. Prayer needs to be seasoned with salt.

Edward McKendree Bounds [E.M. Bounds], the father of effective prayer, learned how to sharpen his prayer skills serving as a Chaplain for the U.S. Confederate Army. The horror of war and the nearness of a violent death tends to satisfy the usual need to remain committed to prayer. Chaplain Bounds shares with us the following:

The possibilities of prayer are the possibilities of faith. Prayer and faith are Siamese twins. One heart animates them both. Faith is always praying. Prayer is always believing. Faith must have a tongue by which it can speak. Prayer is the tongue of faith. Faith must receive. Prayer is the hand of faith stretched out to receive. Prayer must rise and soar. Faith must give prayer the wings to fly and soar. Prayer must have an audience with God. Faith opens the door, and access and audience are given. Prayer asks. Faith lays its hand on the thing asked for.

Father God, through our faith in You we are moved to pray, and through our prayers we believe that You can do immeasurably more than we can ask or even imagine. In the name of Christ Jesus, Thank-you Father, Amen.

IMMANUEL.......GOD WITH US.
(Mat 1:23)

Lord God, we gather here in cyberspace to be filled with the Holy Spirit as we wash ourselves in the Word of our Creator. Show us Lord, Grow us Lord into that which You will find pleasing to Your will and purpose, Amen.

The opening scripture in the title was recorded in the book of Matthew. It's origin, however, is found in Isaiah chapter seven, verse 14. It reads:
"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.

This prophetic statement comes 730 years before the birth of our Lord Christ (Immanuel). These biblical pockets of prediction or prophesy extend all the way back to the book of Genesis, and re-enforces the will of Almighty God to provide a way for us to escape the mandatory death sentence because of the sin infected in all mankind's seed from Adam. Christ would be that propitiation [consistent with the character of God to pardon and bless the sinner.]

(Joh 1:14) And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. (Heb 1:1-2) God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.

Here again, we read and validate that Christ Jesus was with God BEFORE the world was created. We return to the book of John:

(Joh 1:1-4) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.

The great mystery of all time is revealed in it's simplicity that has confounded the human mind for thousands of years. It unravels verse by verse in the pages of the greatest written document of all time; the most wondrous literary work in human history, THE HOLY BIBLE.

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thine name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in Earth as it is in Heaven; Thank-you O God for giving us this written work, this miracle of Your very will and Word. In it's pages are the keys to Your character, Your power, Your mercy and most of all, Lord, Your Love. How very blessed are we who believe and obey, In Christ, Amen.

I love those who love me; And those who diligently seek me will find me. (Pro 8:17)

Pray with me: Heavenly Father, it is with a thankful heart that we come to You this hour and wash ourselves in Your Holy Word. Let us realize the great value of your beautiful gift of salvation through the blood of Your Son, Christ Jesus, Amen.

Proverb 8:17 shows clearly the simplicity of God's promise to all of those who have been called. (Mat 22:14) "For many are called, but few are chosen." I'll share a little secret with you. If you are alive and are breathing right now, YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED! The “Few are chosen”part is where it becomes a bit more complex. To be chosen, you have to answer His call. Do you hear that? He (Christ) is at your door knocking! Answer the door!

Open the door wide, invite Him in. Acknowledge to Him that you are a sinner. Open your heart and receive His gift of salvation and eternal life. He has already paid the price of death that was handed down against you when Adam unleashed Sin and Death for all future mankind. Christ went before the Judge of Judges and suffered a horrible death in your place. He has set you free. Answer the door!

Tomorrow is promised to no one. Yesterday is already gone, never to return. You have only today, right now, this very minute. Hear that? He is knocking. Won't you let Him in?

Father God, how horrible it is when a creation of yours fails time and time again to allow Christ to remove the sentence of death that follows all men and women through their days. You pronounced the death sentence rightly, Adam was surely guilty and the sentence was just. But, in Your wisdom, O' God, you gave Your creation a simple and straight method to be paroled, and that is through the cross and the blood of Your only begotten Son, Jesus. Take those hardened hearts, Lord, and carve a small hole to allow the pure light of Your promise to shine inside. Let the hardened heart be therefore softened from the inside out. Knock loudly Lord, some are hard of hearing, In HIS Blessed name, AMEN.

If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. (1Jn 1:8)

O Lord, guide us in this sharing of the Word, this reading of Holy Scripture. Bless us by opening our eyes and our hearts to the glory of the Gospel, Amen

John, (the disciple that Jesus loved..), speaks volumes in a single sentence. We all are sinners and sinners we will be until our earthly life is over. To the last breath, our tent is infected with the sin of Adam, and although washed with the blood of Christ and spiritually stand sinless and blemish free in the eyes of our Maker, we should not be deceived of our fleshly nature.

Saint Peter encourages believers-in-Christ to be responsible, attentive, to the lustful temptations that are abound in this Satan filled earthly life. He writes:

(2Pe 1:5-8) Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge, and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness, and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Peter shares his personal knowledge of how frail our faith is sometimes and that it takes effort on our part to adhere our behavior in the shadow of the Lord's example to us. It is hard work. Often it is met with hate filled reaction to the Word. How many of our old friends have distanced themselves from us when we shared the Gospel with them? Peter continues in verse 10:

(2Pe 1:10-12) Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you. Therefore, I will always be ready to remind you of these things, even though you already know them, and have been established in the truth which is present with you.

Each of us should stand ready to remind our brothers and sisters of Peter's words, even though we should already know them. We lovingly hold each other accountable to His word, and to our perfection in our Father's eyes.

JESUS our LORD, Your majesty and greatness is reflected in the glory that Father God pours out on You; giving You all power in Heaven and on Earth. We cherish Your love, and we revere Your power. We know that You are at the door, sweet Savior, Strong King, and we say with joy in our voices, COME LORD! AMEN.

DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE SON OF GOD?

Almighty God, bless our journey into the Holy Scripture, as we wash ourselves in the Word. Let us absorb fully, all that you teach, Amen.

Jesus heard that they had put him out, and finding him, He said, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?" He answered, "Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?"

He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power – which He will bring about at the proper time – He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.

"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

And he said, "Lord, I believe." And he worshiped Him.-- For I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.

"BEHOLD, I LAY IN ZION A CHOICE STONE, A PRECIOUS CORNER stone, AND HE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED." This precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for those who disbelieve, "THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED, THIS BECAME THE VERY CORNER stone," but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.

Thank-you Mighty Father for the blessing of this reading of your Holy Word. Let its message be fully engaged in our souls and minds. We love you Lord, we pray in Christ's precious name, Amen.

No one comes to the Father but through Me. (Joh 14:6)

Father God, we come again to your Word, to search and learn from Holy Scripture. To know Your will and refresh ourselves in Your love. Be with us and open our hearts and minds so that we might join ourselves in Your will and In Christ, Amen.

God created heaven and earth. God created man from the dust and woman from man. Man and woman lived in a paradise, heaven on earth in Eden. Both were sinless and without fault. Life was good. Satan introduced both man and woman to PRIDE and EGO ---SIN and DEATH was unleashed to all future mankind. The seed of man was infected with the virus of SIN. Everyone born after Adam carries the SIN virus in them. There is no cure except through Christ Jesus. Period! Without treatment, Eternal death, pain and suffering is the terminal prognosis.

Only through another SINLESS man and HIS execution could God grant permanent atonement, a cure, restoring man to perfection in God's eyes. Only by washing in the blood of the Christ, the only Son of the living God, is man salvaged, redeemed, healed, and cured to perfection with eternal life and citizenship in the Kingdom. JESUS died in YOUR PLACE on the cross. Jesus killed the virus of SIN for those who believe on Him.

(Joh 14:6) Jesus said... I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Man created this mess but man is powerless to make it right. God knew this and arranged for a cure that would cost Him His son's life. God gave His only son to heal you of the Virus of SIN. The cure, the healing medicine is in your mouth, is in your words:

(Rom 10:8-10) …. "THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART"--that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

Realize that if you have not taken Christ into your body, if you have not accepted Him as your savior, this Virus of SIN will kill you forever!

Even though Adam's actions infected all of us with this horrible deadly disease of SIN, God created a cure through Jesus Christ, His son. Won't you take your medicine and be healed?

O' Lord God, my Father, I pray for Your wondrous grace as the Word of healing is spoken, Ney, Shouted to all the earth that eternal death does not have to be the result. Let all ears be open allowing the hearts to receive the cure, the healing, the salvation of rebirth, and be BORN AGAIN free of SIN, spotless and pure having the promise of citizenship in the Kingdom of heaven and life eternal, Amen.

I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.
(CF Mat 5:17)

Through out the Old Testament are brief glimpses of Jesus. As the coming Son of God would soon usher in the Re-Birth of mankind, scripture leaves a trail of His path from the garden of Eden directly to the Cross on Calvary.

Lets open in Prayer: Father, we thank you for this time to study Your Word and to join our hearts in understanding the crucial need to open our very souls to the gift of salvation through Christ Jesus. Guide our steps, O Lord, and reveal to us the knowledge that will make us free, Amen.

Events in Eden unleashed the horror of spiritual warfare, a non-stop battle that rages this very moment in the spiritual world of Our Lord, just out of our sight. It is a war of unparalleled violence larger and more catastrophic then any human mind can grasp. Horrible, painful tortures, gut wrenching anguish and death is the reality this moment in full view of God.

God and His mighty army battles Satan every minute of every day. The battle is much more violent now than at any previous time in Biblical history. The reason? The death and resurrection of Christ Jesus overcame death and sealed the terminal fate of the Prince of Darkness, the Devil. Satan understands that his time is short and is bound and determined to take as many of you with him to hell as he can, and by any means.

It is my job, my mission to make sure that as many as possible are educated on what the stakes are. To make you absolutely aware of what may be waiting for you when you take your last earthly breath.

(Mat 10:28) "Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Jesus is knocking at the door of your very soul. If you open the door, He will come in.

(Joh 10:9) "I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved...

(Rev 3:20) 'Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

To my way of thinking comparing an eternity in darkness and suffering against eternity in the light in the kingdom of God is a no brainer! It rests with you to open the door and let your Savior come in.

Heavenly Father, open the eyes, the ears and the hearts of all who share in these studies. Allow them to search themselves and make a decision to open the door to Jesus knocking. If they take their last breath of life this very day and have not opened that door, the original sentence on Adam will be enforced, eternal death. I pray O Lord that every one who has not made this decision will do so right now. Listen for their voice to you in prayer. I ask in His name, Amen.

You will be like God

(Gen 3:13) Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" And the woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."

Father, we ask for Your kind blessing as we bathe ourselves in Your Word. Working together through a journey toward the Good News, the Gospel of Christ, Amen

God was very, very disappointed with Adam's prideful actions. You see, Eve was deceived, but Adam knew better. Satan was invited in and along with him loads of nasty baggage. Pride, lust, deceit, murder, theft, lying. The Lord was absolutely justified in the sentence of death, but if He executed Adam then, I wouldn't be writing this and you would not be reading it.

God came pretty close by using the great flood to kill every air breathing creature on the planet, save seven souls plus Noah who survived, along with select animals, in the ark. (Gen 6:9-7:24) The problem was, Noah and his sons carried the infected seed with them, and generations later, here we are, still a slave to Satan. The sentence of death remains in place. We as man and woman kind are absolutely incapable of breaking these chains. Only God can do that.

(Joh 1:1-3) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

The scripture above may come as a surprise to some. Jesus was with God from BEFORE the world was created. It would be Jesus, being supernaturally born of a human woman, a pregnancy from a sin-free seed, the very seed of God from the line of Abraham. This seed would produce the Man/God who would die so that we all might live. Jesus, the second Adam, is the sinless man who willingly gave His life to correct Adam's horrible error.

As we go along on this journey of study, we will discover the prophesy over thousands of years of Christ's coming, and the gift he bore to set us free. Join us won't you?

Oh Lord, our God, we are full of thanksgiving for the blessing of having this mode of communication. Sharing the rich beauty of Your word, introducing us to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Thank-you Abba, Amen.

You shall call His name Jesus

(Heb 4:15) For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.

Mighty God, creator of heaven and earth, thank-you for this time of study. Please bless our time together as we wash ourselves in the Word, Amen.

In review; God created the heavens and the earth, and out of the earth God made man. From man, God made woman. Both were without sin. God planned for Adam and Eve to care for His creation, especially the Garden of Eden, and commanded that they be fruitful and multiply as all other living creatures, each to their own kind. Eden was truly heaven on earth. Life was good! They had one law they had to obey. Just one! Don't eat the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden.

We know that Satan {characterized as a snake} convinced Eve to taste the fruit, and she in turn brought Adam into the mix. Adam clearly knew better but allowed pride to rule and the result was the unleashing of Sin and Death upon all mankind. Every man was now infected through the seed of Adam. Since the sentence of eternal death was already pronounced, the eternal future did not look too bright.

(Luk 1:30, 31) The angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God. "And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus.

Since all of mankind shared the same infected seed of Adam, a new sinless man would have to be born. Not of Man's seed, but of God's. This Jesus, a sinless man, would willingly take upon His shoulders the sins of all mankind forever and then willingly be executed in our place to satisfy the sentence for the “Original SIN”. Sinless man unleashed SIN and DEATH upon all. Only Sinless man could make right that original wrong.

In our next meeting, we will begin to fill in many blanks using scripture to tell the wonderful TRUE story, the WHOLE story. Won't you join us?

Oh Father, we truly love exploring the Word through the Holy Bible. Thank-you for the blessings and the thirst to know the truth, and to know you and your plan for each of us. In the name of Christ Jesus, Amen.

WHAT NOW?

(Gen 6:13) Then God said to Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of them; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth.

LETS PRAY; Father God, yet today global Sin has reached terrible levels. Wretched, evil, perverted and horrifying behavior runs unchecked in every land. We know that the end times are near, very near and there remains so very much work to do in reaching the unsaved that you place in our paths. Guide us and energize us, O Lord, to bring in a record harvest. In Christ's name, AMEN.

The vulgarity and violence referred to by God in Genesis 6:13 was incredible. Incredible enough to convince our Creator to destroy everything and start over. That He did through the Great Flood. (Gen 6:17 thru Gen 7:24) God left only selected animals, birds and eight humans alive to repopulate the earth.

Even with this “Do Over”, man simply could not, or would not follow God's rules. It took little time for the sinfulness of man, the evil of Satan, to reach epic levels once more.

Despite the great efforts, teaching and accomplishments of men, men like Abraham, Moses, Joseph, Jacob, David and Solomon, man could not distance themselves from the slavery and bondage of SIN. Man's efforts were useless in gaining salvation.

Death and Satan's rule of the earth was invited through the error of a sinless man, Adam. It would only be through another sinless and blameless man that this evil would finally be overcome and the purity that existed in the Garden of Eden be returned once more in glory to God. Who would this sinless and perfect man, this so called Second Adam be?

CLOSING PRAYER; Almighty God, thank-you for the opportunity to dive into scripture and to study the written road map that leads to salvation and eternal life. We cherish this time with you O Lord, in HIS Holy name, AMEN.
